Avrupa Kömür ve Çelik Topluluğu

(European Coal and Steel Community)

Belçika, Fransa, Almanya, İtalya, Lüksemburg ve Hollanda tarafından üye devletler arasında kömür ve çelik ala­nında ortak pazarın kurulması amacıyla 1951’de imzalanan antlaşmayla oluştu­rulmuş ve 2002 yılında varlığı sona er­miştir. Avrupa Birliği’ne giden yolu açan üç topluluktan biridir. Diğer iki topluluk Avrupa Atom Enerjisi Topluluğu ve Av­rupa Ekonomik Topluluğu’dur.
