Maastricht Antlaşması

(Maastricht Treaty) Avrupa Topluluğu’nu Avrupa Birliği’ne dönüştüren bu antlaşma Hollanda’nın Maastricht ken­tinde 1992 yılında imzalanmış, 1993’te yürürlüğe girmiştir. Bu antlaşma, eko­nomik ve parasal birliğin kurulması he­defi yanında Avrupa yurttaşlığı, ortak güvenlik ve dış politika uygulamaları­nın sağlanması konularında ortak prog­ramlar hazırlanması ve benzeri hedef­ler içermiştir.
